Most research show that parents absenteeism can even lead to psychological trauma in children, which may extend to adulthood. Divorce cases where children are involved rather expose the kind of irresponsibleness and lack of parental values among parents in the society. Divorcing especially when the children are still young will always have a negative impact on the childrens well being. Research show that children raised by single parents suffer emotionally and may develop certain habits to adulthood. It is quite evident that most parents no longer know what they want for their children in future and fail to consider the welfare of their children befo re divorcing.
